Jorge has worked for the fashion industry for more than 20 years. He began his career as a garment grader and marker maker at his previously family owned business, Lugo of California Inc., a garment cutting service, where he mastered his skills. 

Over the years, Jorge dealt with a variety of work orders and environments, also learning several other sides to the business; whether an order called for cutting, fusing, crosscut/bias/straight cut, or sewing - he managed to simplify the task and know exactly how to tackle them. However, his specialty and dedication lead him to his craft - Grading and Marking.

Utilizing PAD System, Jorge personally saw to it that every order involving grading and markers was handled with care, attention, and done so in a timely manner. The volume of orders overseen has molded Jorge into an expert like no other in his field; there is no task unfit for him to handle. 

Today

Eventually Jorge and his partners held different aspirations, so he decided it was time to own the reins of his own business. In March 2018, Jorge took it upon himself to start Lugo Grading & Marking.

This business, built with focus, determination, and professionallism as its foundation, strives to deliver each order placed with 100% care, attention to detail, and speed.
